A microgrid is a self-sufficient local energy system that serves a discrete geographic footprint — examples include manufacturing facilities, data centers, college campuses, hospital complexes, grocery and retail centers, public offices, or residential developments. Most advanced designs allow the facility to operate completely independent of the local utility grid, remaining fully operational when the surrounding grid goes offline due to natural disasters, grid failures, or other disruptions.

Asbestos abatement is the safe removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) from a building. It is required in California before any renovation or demolition work that disturbs materials suspected of containing asbestos — typically in buildings constructed before 1980. California regulations enforced by Cal/OSHA and the Air Quality Management District (AQMD) mandate that a certified asbestos inspector survey the site and that a licensed abatement contractor perform the removal. R&D Development Solutions is licensed to perform asbestos abatement and coordinates all required inspections, notifications, and disposal documentation.
